A dental clinic isn't a separate signup type: you sign up as a Medical Clinic and run with the Clinical and Dental modules together. In a dental clinic, Orcaa speaks your language: Dentists, Patients, Treatments, and Appointments. You ship with Bookings, Packages, the Waiting Room, Clinical, and Dental enabled.
1. Setup
Add your dentists with schedules and availability, build your procedure catalog, and enable intake forms. The Dental module gives you a tooth-by-tooth dental chart and treatment-plan templates ready to use.
2. Daily use
A patient books an 11:00 AM treatment, checks in via QR or the reception kiosk, and waits in the queue. The dentist charts findings tooth-by-tooth, builds a multi-visit treatment plan, records SOAP notes and vitals, writes prescriptions, and shares the patient's smile journey. A prepay wallet lets patients fund staged treatment in advance.
3. Money
Invoice with per-service tax-inclusive VAT — the exempt-versus-taxable split is disclosed. Take card or wallet (Paymob), InstaPay, or cash; draw down the prepay wallet, file insurance claims, and reconcile the cash drawer at close.
4. Reports
The owner dashboard shows revenue and patient volume, and the clinical dashboard surfaces alerts and pending signatures. Use the visiting-doctor fee breakdown for visiting dentists, then generate and pay out salaries.
