The installable-module model

Orcaa has no hardcoded feature set per business type — every capability is an opt-in module you manage from Settings → Add-ons. When you sign up, your business type ships a sensible default set of modules, and from there any business can install or uninstall any module at any time. Under the hood this writes a per-business override, settings.modules.<key>_enabled, which always wins over the type defaults — both ways: you can turn on a module your type doesn't get by default, or turn off one it does. For example, a Beauty Salon can add the memberships module even though it doesn't ship with it, and a Gym that doesn't want a customer storefront can remove retail the same way.

Branches & business profile

Manage your business profile — name, logo, and contact details — and your branches, each with its own address and working hours. Use 12-hour time with AM/PM, for example open 9:00 AM and close 9:00 PM. Working hours drive your online availability directly, so keep them accurate to make sure your booking page reflects reality. Pro plans support multiple branches, each with its own independent schedule.

Payment setup

Turn on the payment methods you accept to match your customers: Paymob for card, mobile wallet, and kiosk; InstaPay with manual proof of transfer; and cash with end-of-day cash-shift reconciliation. Each one toggles on independently, so you accept what suits your audience without forcing a single channel. You'll find the full money flow in the Payments & Tax guide.

Google Calendar sync

Connect Google Calendar for two-way sync, so bookings flow between Orcaa and your calendar and your availability stays consistent across both without duplication. This lets anyone who lives in their calendar run their schedule from one familiar place, while Orcaa remains the trusted source for appointments.

Your white-label subdomain

Every business gets a white-labeled public booking page at orcaa.cloud/your-business — a 24/7 self-service page customers use to pick a service, time, and provider. This page carries your branding, not Orcaa's chrome, so your customer feels they're dealing directly with your brand.

Terminology customization

Terminology adapts automatically to your business type: a Beauty Salon says Stylists and Clients, a Medical Clinic says Doctors and Patients, a Law Firm says Attorneys and Clients. This shapes labels across the entire app so the product speaks your industry's language with no effort from you.

Notification preferences

Each user controls which channels they receive — email, in-app, push, and SMS — from their notification preferences. This makes sure what matters reaches each person the way they prefer, without noise. You'll find the details in the Notifications & Chat guide.

Roles & permissions

Both front-desk staff and service providers are invited the same way and assigned a role. Built-in roles are free on every plan, while custom roles are a higher-plan feature, and roles can be assigned per branch.
