The end-to-end walkthrough
Other Business is the general-purpose option for any service business that doesn't fit a named vertical. It uses Orcaa's default terms — Providers, Customers, Services, and Bookings — and ships with Bookings, Packages, and the Waiting Room enabled. Because every capability is an installable module, you assemble the rest to match how you work.
1. Setup
Add your providers with schedules and availability, build your service catalog with durations and prices, and assign which providers perform each service. Install any extra modules that fit your line of work from Settings then Add-ons.
2. Daily use
Customers book on your page at orcaa.cloud/your-business, or you book them at the front desk. Bookings flow through statuses — pending, confirmed, in-progress, completed. A 1:00 PM and a 2:30 PM session sit on the calendar with conflict prevention, and the Waiting Room queues walk-ins.
3. Money
Take card or wallet (Paymob), InstaPay, or cash at checkout; apply packages, coupons, gift vouchers, and loyalty points. VAT is handled per service (tax-inclusive) with the taxable split disclosed, and the cash drawer is reconciled at close.
4. Reports
The owner dashboard shows today's and the month's revenue, top services, busiest providers, and top customers. Provider commission is calculated automatically before salary generation and payout.
